OilView Minilab Module
Part # A475100
The Minilab Module has been designed with an intuitive interface to lead users through the calibration, operation, and data storage for each Minilab instrument. It aids in diagnosis with automated interpretation and recommendations, graphs of test data, trend plots, statistical analysis and Emerson’s patented Trivector graph for a simple illustration of overall condition. The Minilab software module also contains an editable reference database of common lubricants to be used as a baseline against which to compare data from used oil samples. This package must be ordered in conjunction with the AMS Machinery Manager (Single-User or Network) Core Software License.
- Easy-to-understand graphical plots and trends illustrate every measurement
- Automated diagnostic interpretation and recommendations
- Leads you step-by-step through operation of each Minilab instrument
- Startup is quick and easy with an editable reference database of common lubricants.
OilView LIMS Module
Part # A475101
LIMS (Lab Information Management System) is used to efficiently and effectively manage oil analysis data, analysis, and reporting processes, including:
- importing data from oil laboratories
- exporting data and reports to customers
- trending and analyzing data
- creating and managing sample batches (similar to vibe routes)
- scheduling samples on calendar, showing past results and future samples
- assigning customers to address book
- profiling customer report preferences
- providing automatic report generation and distribution
- performing oil analysis program management functions
- manual sample data entry
LIMS can be used in conjunction with the Minilab module (detailed above) to enhance efficient Minilab operation. It can also be used in conjunction with the Instrument Communications Module (Part # A475104) to collect oil analysis data from lab instruments not manufactured by Emerson. Price includes 6 hours of Webcast training to assist with initial orientation to software structure and features. LIMS replaces the previous General Lab Import, OilTrend, and MasterTrend Oil Analysis software modules. This package must be ordered in conjunction with the AMS Machinery Manager (Single-User or Network) Core Software License.
OilView Wear Debris Analysis Module
Part # A475103
The Wear Debris Analysis Module allows you to capture and store images and record observations of wear debris along with other sample data. The WDA module is designed to work with images from various sources: a live image from a video capture card, an image file sent from the laboratory with an oil analysis report, or an image scanned from a hard copy report. Regardless of the method used to bring the image into the computer, it can be stored with the sample data in the AMS Machinery Manager database. To simplify the process of analysis, there is an image library complete with professional characterizations. Each library image may be compared with the sample image and characterizations may be copied and edited. The WDA process involves three steps: sample preparation, sample viewing, and sample analysis. Sample preparation for wear debris analysis involves concentrating particles on a surface such as the OilView 5100 sensor grid, 2) a filter patch using the Patch Maker, or 3) a glass slide. The Minilab user is automatically prompted by the software when to use a microscope to look at particles immediately following a 5200 or 5100 test.
This package must be ordered in conjunction with the AMS Machinery Manager (Single-User or Network) Core Software License.
