MotorView Silver is an AC induction motor diagnostic program that analyzes the frequency spectra of a motor’s electrical supply current to detect rotor-related electrical faults. These include broken rotor bars, high-resistance joints, voids in aluminum cast rotors, and cracked rotor end rings in squirrel-cage induction motors. This package must be ordered in conjunction with the AMS Machinery Manager (Single-User or Network) Core Software License. Includes:

• CSICOM - Communication Program
• EXPORT - Exception Reports
• ROUTE - Route Manager
• FRQCAL - Frequency Calculation Program

The MotorView Gold level adds motor flux analysis in addition to motor current analysis. This eliminates the need to open motor control cabinets to access high voltage wiring. It also allows detection of additional electrical problems such as faults in rotors, stators, as well as voltage imbalance. The analyses performed and recommendations provided are based on measurements acquired with flux, current, and temperature sensors.

This package must be ordered in conjunction with the AMS Machinery Manager (Single-User or Network) Core Software License.

Choose one item for each of the following three groups when ordering software at full list price.

1. Temperature Measurement/Adapter – select either the volt/accel/temp adapter (Part #A06250T) or Part #A0515PK (which includes the A06250T adapter).
2. Current Clamp – select a clamp on current probe with either .005-600 amps (Part #A341B), 50-150 amps (Part #A341C) or .05-1000 amps (Part #A341D).
3. Flux Coil – select a flux coil with BNC connector that is 9” (Part #A03430A) or 6.5” (Part #A03430B - 6.5")
